OXENHOPE made it two wins in two with a six-wicket victory at Old Crossleyans, who were dismissed for just 54.
They soon found themselves in trouble against the opening bowlers Nathan Storton (3-16) and Robin Cusdin (2-9). Change bowlers Liam Dyson (3-14) and Tom Mawer (2-0) cleaned the tail up but it was not all plain-sailing for the visitors on a tricky surface.
Tom Mawer (18) and Scott Mallinson (21no) did enough to seal the 12-point victory.
Meanwhile, Oxenhope II, comprising mainly of retired players and juniors, almost pulled off an unlikely win at home to Old Crossleyans II.
The visitors batted first, with home captain Duncan Tetley (3-107) having to bowl himself through. Juniors Robbie Carling and Spencer Hurd were only allowed to bowl restricted overs as Brendan Ellison (3-60) shouldered the remainder of the work.
Old Crossleyans amassed a big total of 260-6 thanks to Mark Davison (52), John Pearson (58) and Brian Reynolds (47).
Oxenhope made a decent start but ran into trouble against the accurate bowling of Paul Reynolds but Ellison (62) provided hope. Further contributions down the order saw the result in the balance with Tetley (48 no) and Ian Dyson together for the last wicket with 46 runs needed.
The chase was down to just 12 needed off two overs before Dyson played on and the visitors took the 12 points, due mainly to Reynolds, who took 7-88.
