KEIGHLEY & Craven athlete Joe Hudson was the pride of Yorkshire at the Inter-Counties Junior Fell Running Championship.
The race ace was the first home in the event's men's race in a time of 26 minutes 27 seconds. He beat Yorkshire team-mate Josh Dickinson, who finished second in 26.40 and third-placed Tom Humphries, of Cumbria, in 27.44
Hudson was also part of the winning men's under-19 team, where he was joined by Josh Dickinson and Kieran Loombe (32.28)
Other Keighley & Craven runners taking part included Eric Beaumont, also representing Yorkshire, who finished fifth in the u17s' boys in 24.10. Sebastian Segger-Staveley, of Settle, also representing Yorkshire, finished ninth in the same race in 25.11.
There was also success for Keighley & Craven in the girls' races at the meeting. These included Lilli Carr being part of the winning ladies' u17 team. She clocked a time of 30.17 and was joined in the successful trio by Bernadette Raven in 27.45 and Emily Jones in 29.49.
Carr finished fifth in the under-17 girls' race, with Raven third and Jones fourth at last weekend's event.
Hudson was one of two individual golds for Yorkshire, joining Finnian Hutchinson. They also won three team golds at the event.
