NEW Cougars signing Mo Agoro came off the interchanges for Jamaica yesterday and played the majority of their battling 38-6 defeat to England Knights.
Coming on midway through the first half in the back row before moving to the wing for a spell in the second 40.
Agoro impressed with a number of strong carries as the Reggae Warriors grew into the game.
Both Jason Muranka (Serbia) and Kieran Moran (Scotland) begin their 2021 World Cup qualifying campaign this Saturday in Glasgow as their respective nations meet in the opening group game.
The European play-off tournament will qualify four teams to the World Cup. It is scheduled for October and November this and will consist of Ireland, Scotland, Serbia, Spain, Greece and Italy.
The six teams will be split into two round-robin pools. The winners and runner-up in each pool will qualify for the 2021 World Cup. There will be no European qualification to the intercontinental play-off.
