KEIGHLEY-BORN tennis star Jonny O'Mara is out of the Australian Open men's doubles after a first-round defeat.
He and new partner Artem Sitak faced an extremely tough opening match, going up against fifth seeds Joe Salisbury and Rajeev Ram.
And in the end, despite putting up a brave fight, O'Mara and Sitak were beaten 6-4 6-4 on Court 17.
O'Mara was not the only Keighley representative at this year's Australian Open, but like him, 20-year-old Oxenhope star Francesca Jones was also knocked out in the opening round.
She went down 6-4 6-1 to American Shelby Rogers.
