KEIGHLEY kickboxer Josh Crowther continued his long running win streak at the weekend by taking home the RECC Professional Kickboxing title.
Crowther won via a vicious knockout early in the second round and took his record to 8-1 as a professional.
The Keighley fighter will now be looking to add further titles to his name as well as some international matches abroad.
He is head kickboxing coach at Keighley's Aire Valley Martial Arts (AVMA) and teaches classes four nights a week.
His head coach Duane Harper said: "We believe that getting out there and competing against the best we can find is the only way to run a martial arts club.
"Josh has taken the kickboxing program to new levels, with many new fighters coming through the ranks."
All in all, it has been a great month for AVMA, with head Brazilian Jiu Jitsu coach Harper taking silver at the IBJJF European Championships in Rome earlier this month.
The Europeans are considered one of the "Big Four " tournaments in the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu calendar and placing highly really cements AVMA as a top level training facility.
