NON-league football stalwart Jerry White, who plays at Steeton AFC, has announced he will be retiring at the end of the season.
Club captain White, who Steeton describe as a no-nonsense central defender, will be retiring after making nearly 500 non-league football appearances over the years.

White starting his career as a teenager at Thackley, and he played for Liversedge and Harrogate Railway before joining Steeton.
Steeton paid tribute to White with a tweet that called White a "true stalwart of local non-league football with nearly 500 appearances to his name. Congratulations on an amazing career, Jerry!"
