CHRIS Melling and partner Imran Majid put on a stellar display to overcome a fellow Brit pair at the World Cup of Pool on Wednesday evening.
The duo faced off with Jayson Shaw and Elliott Sanderson on Wednesday and they thrashed their opponents in a 7-0 whitewash in the first round of Matchroom's World Cup of Pool.
Melling and Majid were categorised as 'Great Britain B' and their opponents were classed as 'Great Britain A'.
The 2022 World Cup of Pool is a professional pool doubles tournament, and the 15th edition of the World Cup of Pool. The event will be contested by 32 pairs representing different nations, and will take place at the Brentwood Centre in Brentwood, England, from 14 to 19 June 2022.
