OMAR Anjum has had worse weeks.
The Steeton defender, who made a summer move from Eccleshill United, netted twice in their 6-1 opening day win over Cleator Moor Celtic in the North West Counties Football League First Division North.
And now he has received an international call-up.
Okay, so he might not be making a late push to feature at the Qatar World Cup, but he is set to turn out for Kashmir FA in Paris.
They will be taking on Tamil Eelam in France next Thursday, with kick-off at 8:30pm.
There are a few other players from Bradford, or who have played for Bradford teams, also in the squad, including Mohammed Qasim, Tabish Hussain and Raeece Ellington.
The Kashmir side is managed by former Eccleshill United boss Lee Elam.
