Premier Division side Bay Athletic have been awarded three points after the West Riding County FA overturned a decision by the West Riding County Amateur League.
Keighley Shamrocks' 2-1 victory over Athletic in October was ruled null and void by the league after it transpired that Shamrocks had fielded an ineligible player, Damien Lee, during the game.
Under league rules, the fixture was due to be played again but, after an appeal by Athletic, the County FA have ruled that the game should automatically be awarded to Bay, who now lead the Premier Division as a result.
Shamrocks, who were fined by the league and the county, fielded Lee who was not signed on and was also under county suspension.
Results secretary Philip Rhodes said it was the first time he had known the county FA overturn a league ruling.
