A total of £2,000 was raised for the family of a Keighley Star barmaid who tragically died about seven weeks ago.

A charity football tournament held on Sunday at Oakbank School raised £1,070 for the family of Leanne Smith, who died of an aneurysm at the age of 31.

The tournament, which was won by Keighley & Aire Valley Sunday Alliance League side Keighley Star, featured 60 players and was watched by another 40 spectators on the day.

The Keighley Darts & Dominoes League also donated £1,000, meaning Leanne's husband Craig, and three boys, Jordan, James and Ryan, will be able to use the money to jet off to Florida for a holiday which will give the children a chance to enjoy the state's many theme parks.
