Gale force winds made playing football almost impossible in the Keighley & Aire Valley Alliance League on Sunday but the story of the day was AC Victoria's win against Stanbury Park Rangers in a Premier Division top of the table clash.

Stanbury Park Rangers 2 AC Victoria 3

This clash between the two clubs was a vital game in respect of the championship and a game Stanbury needed to win.

An even first half came to an end without either team scoring. The second half saw Stanbury have the better of the exchanges in the first 20 minutes.

Andy King scored twice and Stanbury looked to be on the way for a vital three points but AC Victoria fought back.

Chris Best reduced the arrears and before the final whistle Danny Moriarty found the net twice to give his team a narrow victory.
