SILSDEN have not lost at home since September 3, but there was a surefire way to stop them in their tracks on Saturday.
They were hunting an eighth win on the spin at the Office Interiors Stadium, with Bottesford Town the visitors at the weekend.
But sadly for the Cobbydalers, they were thwarted by the weather.
A pitch inspection took place on the morning of the game, due to standing water on the playing surface.
The referee understandably decided that made conditions unsafe, with the game called off just before 10am.
Silsden remain fifth in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division after their blank weekend, with their next game on Saturday at a strong Penistone Church side.
