HE is most famous for playing for the likes of Sheffield United, Leeds United and Queens Park Rangers, but many forget that former Premier League goalkeeper Paddy Kenny began his senior career in Bradford.
He was a teenage stopper at Bradford (Park Avenue) in the late 1990s, before moving on to bigger and better things.
Kenny still keeps in touch with Avenue, and was the guest speaker at a club event at the Midland Hotel in October.
He regularly does functions like this, and is back in the Bradford District in April, this time at Silsden AFC.
Silsden Sports Club is the venue for 'An Evening with Paddy Kenny' on Saturday, April 22.
Comedian Mick Bradshaw will also be performing, with doors opening on the night at 7pm.
Tickets for the event are £25 per person, with food included in that price.
