Chris Melling and Arfan Dad may be flying the flag for professional pool in Keighley, but Keighley’s best amateurs will not have to travel far to take part in regional qualifiers for this year’s Ultimate Pool Amateur Championships.
The main competition is not until the weekend of September 9-10, but there are 12 qualifying weekends before that.
There are London, Cheshire and Staffordshire qualifiers among those, as well as one in Ireland.
There is also a Yorkshire qualifier, which is being held at Pilky’s, in Keighley, on the weekend of June 24-25.
