KEIGHLEY Cougars have named new signing Jake Sweeting in Sunday's squad against Whitehaven.
It seems to be a key signing on paper, given Keighley were weakened by the departures of Jack Miller and Luke Gale in the pivot position earlier in the season.
Sweeting, 23, has played for Featherstone, Hunslet, York and Doncaster.
Cougars’ squad for their clash with Whitehaven: Alix Stephenson, Charlie Graham, Mo Agoro, Dan Parker, Billy Gaylor, Toby Everett, Aaron Levy, Kyle Kesik, Harvey Spence, Keenan Dyer-Dixon, Ellis Robson, Brad Walker, Lloyd Roby, Robbie Storey, Sqdiq Adebiyi, Jack Bibby, Cole Oakley, Luca Atkinson, Joe Hird, Kieran Rush and Jake Sweeting.
Of course, Keighley need to fix their form having lost their last five league fixtures, a run which has seen them slip towards the Betfred Championship table.
Whitehaven sit just two places above Cougars in 9th, so a victory this weekend would be key for the home side in their bid to avoid the drop.
