Gabriel Medd and Megan Richmond represented City of Bradford Swimming Club in the Aquasphere Chillswim Coniston End to End event in the stunning surroundings of Coniston Water.
Over the 5.25 km event, Keighley native Medd finished in first place in his 16-19 years age group and third place overall in a time of 1hr 55 min 51 seconds.
Swimming in the same age group Richmond placed first in her age group and seventh overall in a time of 2 hrs 11min 56 seconds.
And some of City of Bradford’s swimmers have been rewarded with national selection, including Keighley duo Quinn Austin-Kelly and Imogen Tiffany.
The former will be taking part at the British Summer Championships in Sheffield between July 22 and 28 in the 200m breaststroke event.
He will be doing the 50m and 100m versions of that stroke the following week at the Swim England National Meet, also in Sheffield.
Tiffany will join Austin-Kelly at that second event, partaking in the 50m, 100m and 200m breaststroke.
All swimmers train on the Bradford Aquatics Competition programme under the guidance of coaches Andy Pearce and Sarah Fisher.
