Gabriel Medd led the field in the Aquasphere Epic Lakes Swim Open Water event held at Derwent Water. Over the 3.8 km event, the Keighley teenager finished as first male in his 16/19 years age group and third overall in time of 51 minutes 43 seconds.
Swimming in the same age group Megan Richmond claimed fifth female and ninth overall in a time of 57 minutes 52 seconds.
In the Open 500m event Jade Buxton finished thirty fourth overall and sixteenth female in a time of 11 minutes 21 seconds
All the above swimmers train with Bradford Aquatics Competition Programme under the guidance of Andy Pearce and Sarah Fisher.
