Chris Melling just missed out on the last-64 of the prestigious Matchroom US Open.
The Keighley potter started the tournament well, beating Bulgaria’s Kristian Dimitrov 9-4.
He backed that up defeating fellow Brit Chris Alexander 9-3 to move into round three.
But he suffered a setback in round three, losing 9-7 to Hungary’s Oliver Szolnoki.
That meant he had to win his next clash with Fitim Haradina to progress to the last-64, but the German beat him 9-7 too.
