Silsden went down 2-0 away to Bradford District rivals Thackley last night.
The Cobbydalers looked a good bet for a play-off finish in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division a couple of months ago, but they have only won two of their last 11 league games to fall back into mid-table.
Thackley went ahead early on last night through Finn Donovan, while Jake Cassidy earned himself a stupid red card 10 minutes before half-time for continued dissent.
Tom Greaves finished Silsden off with 20 minutes to go, and they now have to raise themselves for a home game with fellow mid-table side Golcar United this Saturday.
