KEIGHLEY duo Chris Melling and Arfan Dad are back in action this weekend, as Ultimate Pool holds its annual Players Championships event.
Melling will be among the favourites for the title, having reached a Pro Series semi-final last month, before winning the inaugural Louisiana Open out in America just over a week later.
The finals tournament gets underway today at the Players Pool & Snooker Lounge in Newcastle-under-Lyme, and runs through until Sunday night.
Thirty-two players have made it this far, including Melling and Dad, where they have been split into eight groups of four.
Melling is in Group Two, which takes place this afternoon, where he will go up against Luke Gilbert, Josh Kane and Kyle Cope.
Dad is part of Group Four, which will be played tonight. He will face Scott Gillespie, Neil Raybone and Lewis Roberts.
The top two from each group will progress into the knockout stages, with the last-16 getting underway on Sunday morning.
The quarter-finals take place from 5pm, the semis from 8pm, then the finale will be at 9:30pm on Sunday night.
