Keighley Albion lost a sensational game of rugby league on Saturday.

They travelled to Westgate Common in the Yorkshire Men’s League Premier Division, and built up a healthy 24-10 lead by the interval.

But the home side roared back to go in front, only for Albion to level the scores with moments to go.

Yet it was Westgate who ended up with the two points, as they regained the ball from their own kick off and ran in for the decisive score.

The 44-38 defeat for Albion leaves them sixth in the eight-team table.

There was better news for Keighley Albion Academy, who won 38-10 at Rycroft Hammers to move up to fifth in Division Six.
