Keighley ace Arfan Dad is not competing in the Pairs Cup this year like he usually does, but he will be in action at the Ultimate Pool Masters, which gets underway tomorrow.

Dad has been given a first-round bye after prospective Gary Clarke pulled out of the competition, meaning his first game will come in the last-64.

His fellow Keighley native Chris Melling will face Stuart McPherson in the last-128, with the winner going through to play Callum Singleton in the next round.

Melling has chosen to play in the Pairs Cup this year, and he booked his spot in the last-16 alongside Tom Ford last Monday.

Andy Blurton and Neil Raybone, Rikki Jones and Jordan Shepherd, Michael Gibney and Craig Waddingham and Ben Doyle and Shaun Sharkey are the other four pairs already through.

Doyle and Sharkey were the latest to book their spot in the next round, doing so on Monday.
