Altofts defeated Keighley by 85 runs in Division Two of the Gordon Rigg Bradford Premier League on Saturday, leaving the latter just four points clear of the relegation zone.
Simon Bailey (4-41) and Ijaz Ahmed (3-57) were Keighley’s best bowlers, but they could not stop their visitors racking up an imposing total of 282-8.
The architect of that was Altofts overseas star Jacques Porter, who crashed a stunning 128 from only 93 balls.
Luke Whitmore struck 79 alongside him as the pair put on 153 for the third wicket, as Keighley did recover somewhat from their opponents being on 225-2 with nearly 11 overs left.
Johandre Barnard (41) and Harry Temperton (40) led the way in the reply, as they guided the home side to 102-1 in the opening 20 overs.
But a collapse saw them slip to 124-5, and despite the best efforts of Bailey (29) and Noah Thirkill (26) to stage a recovery, they were bowled out well short for 197.
Porter rounded off an outstanding game by taking 4-51, while Oliver Box helped him out with 3-26.
Keighley will try and hit back on Saturday at mid-table Buttershaw St Paul’s, who go into the game off the back of an excellent win over title-chasing Gomersal.
