Silsden bounced back superbly from their FA Cup exit on Saturday, this time coming out on the right side of a thriller.
Just three days after losing 4-2 at West Didsbury & Chorlton in the famous knockout competition, they were in Northern Counties East League Premier Division action at Bottesford Town.
And the Cobbydalers won the game 3-2, despite the hosts opening the scoring after only three minutes through Aris Cunha.
After a slow start which almost saw them concede again, Silsden grew into the game, with Casey Stewart fashioning plenty of chances.
They eventually equalised on the half-hour mark, Kayle Price tapping home from close range after a lovely square ball by Luke Brooksbank.
And a bad goalkeeping error from Graeme Anderson allowed Mo Conteh to give Silsden the lead on the stroke of half-time.
A frantic second half saw plenty of chances for both sides, before the visitors finally gained a level of control in the last 15 minutes.
Price smashed an effort off the post, Cody Cromack had a goal disallowed, then Tom Greaves headed home a rebound after Brooksbank had struck the woodwork.
That gave Silsden the two-goal cushion they were after, but they had a late scare after Sam Kilner handballed in the box and Cunha converted the subsequent penalty.
But Bottesford had left their fightback too late, with the three points leaving Silsden in the play-off spots.
The Cobbydalers are back in league action this Saturday, as they host Bradford District rivals Eccleshill United.
