KEIGHLEY Cougars have named their 21-man squad for tomorrow’s Betfred League 1 play-off final against Hunslet.

Former Bradford Bulls star Brandon Pickersgill returns to the fold in a huge boost for Keighley, the full back having recovered from an ankle issue.

But another ex-Bull, Ben Blackmore is serving the second game of his two-match ban for punching in the league win over Hunslet in August.

Hunslet have also named their squad for tomorrow’s game, with loanee George Flanagan Jr set to go up against his own father, who joined Keighley from Bradford earlier this season.

Whoever wins this play-off showdown at Cougar Park will go into next Sunday’s promotion play-off away to Swinton Lions.

The hosts came third-bottom of this year’s Championship, and will be relegated alongside Whitehaven and Dewsbury Rams if they lose at Heywood Road next weekend, with the side beating them being promoted.

However, if Keighley or Hunslet lose at Swinton, the hosts will remain in the Championship for 2025, condemning their vanquished opponents to another campaign in League 1 next year.
