After their weekend exertions against Golcar United, where they won 2-1 at the Northern Counties East League Premier League Division leaders, in-form Silsden were back in action on Tuesday night.
And their Saturday scoreline was repeated, as they beat Yorkshire Amateur 2-1 in a West Riding County Cup first-round tie.
Hosts Amateur are struggling at the foot of Division One of the NCEL but gave an excellent account of themselves.
Silsden stopper Callum Bradbury made a great save early on, but then it was the visitors creating the best chances.
Kayle Price forced a brilliant stop from the keeper and Cody Cromack struck an effort off the crossbar.
Silsden finally got in front on 65 minutes through Lewis Morgan, then saw Casey Stewart kept out by a superb save, only for Ousmane Sidibe to equalise from a free kick for the hosts.
Amateur hit the bar themselves late on, before Stockdill headed home Silsden’s winner with six minutes left.
The Cobbydalers’ focus now returns to the league, and they sit just a point off the top of the NCEL Premier Division heading into their home game with seventh-placed Hallam on Saturday.
