KEIGHLEY Cougars have added an exciting young talent to their ranks for 2025, with Valu Tane Bentley joining from Super League side Leigh Leopards
Capable as a back rower or a middle, Bentley was born in France in 2003, before moving to the UK with his family at the age of six.
He has already made his mark with the Leopards' reserve side this year, having spent time in the academy at Wigan Warriors earlier in his career.
Bentley has also established as a fine prospect in rugby union with Fylde in National League Two North, having initially signed for them in 2021.
He left to spend a season at Sedgley Park before re-joining Fylde ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.
He played in all 26 of Fylde's league game last season, one of only two players to do so, unsurprisingly re-signing for them ahead of the 2024-25 season as a result.
