Keighley Cougars have confirmed that Adam Mitchell will take up the role of strength and conditioning coach at the club.
It is real show of faith from the Cougars board, as Mitchell also has a hand in coaching the first team too.
Mitchell is now in a dual role following the departure of the well-respected Paul Royston.
Something of a club stalwart, Royston had left to work under Craig Lingard at Batley, but he returned to Cougar Park as strength and conditioning coach at the end of 2023 under Matt Foster.
Upon announcing his departure, Cougars gave their thanks to the departing Royston for his invaluable contribution to their 2024 season.
