Young players will be looking their best thanks to a purchase of 20 rugby shirts and shorts.
Ashley Greaves, development officer at Skipton Rugby Club, bought the new kits for Year Seven and Eight pupils at South Craven School.
A spokesman for the school said children and staff were “delighted” to receive the strips.
She added: “For players trotting onto a sports pitch at any level, looking the part is a serious business, and wearing the same kit helps boost morale and team spirit.
"South Craven is part of the All Schools Programme to promote rugby in schools, and this extra kit recognises the increase in the number of our students playing the game, as well as our commitment and participation in local junior rugby.
“Ashley has also started rugby for Year Seven, Eight and Nine girls. He was impressed that 24 turned up for the first session, despite the cold and wet, and they too will wear this new kit.”
